Zaręby Kościelne, Poland – Thursday, April 27, 2023, 3:40 AM local time, A meteor fireball was observed by the Polish Fireball Network, heading southeast at 14 km/s, and ending at a height of 28 km. This was a typical size fireball moving at a relatively slow speed and it is likely some meteorites reached the ground. Also, the search area is fairly small, so chances of recovery are good.

Update 2023-05-08 12:56 UTC | Version 2 released | Only 2 of the 4 cameras were used in data analysis, additional error analysis resulted in increased measurement error. Simulation was re-run and the search area was expanded a bit. The Polish Fireball Network (PFN) is also reviewing their data, per my request, to investigate the possibility of including additional cameras in the solution.
Update 2023-05-09 02:32 UTC | Version 3 released | New trajectory solution provided by PFN, using all 4 cameras that observed the event. It is assumed that this new trajectory is more accurate overall, but the uncertainty is a little higher. For this reason, the version 3 search area is larger.
