Meteorite Strewn Field Maps, News, and Reports

Sanlúcar de Barrameda, Spain

1 min read

A large meteor fireball was observed over Cádiz, in the Andalusia region of southern Spain.  It was detected by the Spanish Meteor Network (SPMN) and their resolved trajectory was reviewed an verified by Strewnify, using videos from Villarrasa and Estepa.  The following trajectory solution was developed and simulated to produce the strewn field above.  The search area is relatively small, and odds of finding meteorites are good, if land access can be obtained.
